Senior Receivables Analyst

Location: USA - Remote

Annual base salary: $77,000-$84,000, plus performance bonus.

What you will do

• Manage billing and invoicing for enterprise-level clients with complex account structures and high-value engagements.
• Validate billing inputs, maintain billing schedules, perform reconciliations, and resolve documentation gaps or discrepancies.
• Support month-end close through timely revenue recognition and accurate accounts receivable reporting.
• Identify recurring billing issues and improve process accuracy, scalability, turnaround time, and automation.
• Maintain audit trails, billing documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
• Collaborate with the Receivables Manager, Finance leadership, and cross-functional teams on billing projects and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of direct billing experience, including enterprise-level accounts with complex contracts and high-value billing.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume billing environments with multiple concurrent billing cycles.
• Knowledge of billing best practices, revenue recognition concepts, financial controls, and billing systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and error checking, plus proficiency with G-Suite tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce and Sage Intacct.
• Experience managing high-value enterprise accounts with nuanced client requirements.
