Payroll Specialist

What you will do

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for approximately 500 employees using ADP WFN.
• Handle certified payroll reports as required by the Davis-Bacon and other related Acts.
• Manage and respond to state and federal tax notices, register tax accounts, and process garnishments.
• Generate standard and ad hoc custom reports for finance and management.
• Resolve employee payroll issues via email, phone, or in person.
• Collaborate closely with benefits, accounting, and HR departments.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in payroll administration.
• Must be located in the US to handle federal and state tax requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and moderate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State wages and overtime laws.
• Proven ability to maintain a confidential work environment and work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Recent experience with ADP WFN.
• Experience with multi-state and union payroll.
• Knowledge of prevailing wage and Certified payroll reporting.
• Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, and Concur.
