What you will do

  • Personally execute end-to-end payroll processing cycles, primarily focusing on Canada and the US.
  • Administer North American and international benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement, and wellness plans.
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal, provincial, state, and international payroll legislation and tax filings.
  • Manage and optimize payroll/HRIS systems (UKG, Workday, CloudPay, ADP) and produce detailed workforce analytics.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for payroll and benefits inquiries, providing support to global employees.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Mexico.
  • 10+ years of payroll experience, including 3+ years in a Lead or Manager role.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience processing Canada and US payroll cycles (not just oversight).
  • Payroll certification (PCP, CPM, CPP, or equivalent) is required.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Degree or diploma in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing global payroll across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
