Business Development Director (Renewables): Developing new opportunities with prospects and expanding existing client relationships in utilities and renewable energy markets with an accent on strategic account management, prospecting, and proposal collaboration. Location: Remote or in-office (Lakewood, CO). Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Salary: $150,000 - $185,000 / year (Denver, Colorado labor market)

What you will do
- Meet or exceed assigned territory order intake quota through prospecting and account management.
- Identify prospects with competitive advantages and connect with decision makers to position NEI for opportunities.
- Uncover client needs and execute strategic account plans.
- Collaborate with operations and proposals teams to develop winning strategies and technical solutions.
- Position NEI as the preferred engineering contractor in utilities market.
- Log all interactions in HubSpot and provide Voice of the Client feedback.
Requirements
- Over ten years of successful sales experience in the Utilities market.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and CRM tools.
- Proven ability to work effectively in remote or hybrid environment.
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving, growing company.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field.
- Experience at companies of various sizes.
- Existing relationships with potential NEI clients.
- Experience selling in new markets or new offerings.
