What you will do

• Reconstruct vehicular accidents using engineering analysis, CAE-based tools, and test data.
• Provide collision scene evidence analysis and forensic mapping of collision sites and vehicles.
• Inspect cars, trucks, and other transportation modes to perform damage and energy analysis.
• Analyze vehicle dynamics, perception and reaction times, and braking efficiency of air brake systems.
• Inspect automotive and mechanical parts to determine the root cause of failure.
• Prepare technical reports and provide expert witness testimony in depositions or trials.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work in Charlotte, North Carolina.
• Professional industry experience in vehicle accident reconstruction.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• P.E. license or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Ability to provide expert witness testimony in litigation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct focused site and vehicle inspections.
