Sr. Terrestrial Services Sales Manager (Starlink Aviation): Drive adoption of Starlink’s high-speed terrestrial connectivity across airport and ground operations worldwide with an accent on closing enterprise deals with airlines and airports. Focus on uncovering opportunities, leading negotiations, building sales pipelines, and influencing product features through customer discovery.

Location: Based in Bastrop, TX; onsite required - remote work not considered; Must meet ITAR requirements: US citizen, national, permanent resident (green card), refugee, or asylee

What you will do

  • Close terrestrial enterprise deals with airlines, commercial aviation, and business aviation customers
  • Drive expansion of Starlink ground services by identifying opportunities and owning pricing, strategy, and negotiations
  • Conduct customer discovery to uncover use cases in lounges, gates, hangars, fleet vehicles, and share feedback with engineering and product teams
  • Develop commercial proposals, manage contracts end-to-end, and forecast sales pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and synthesize market insights for leadership
  • Contribute to sales enablement materials like playbooks and case studies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business + 5+ years in business development, partnerships, strategy, or sales; or 10+ years experience without degree
  • Available for extended hours, weekends, and ~50% travel to customer and SpaceX locations
  • Based in Bastrop, TX; onsite required
  • Meet ITAR: US citizen/national, green card holder, refugee, or asylee

Nice to have

  • Experience commercializing networks or closed user groups
  • Proven sales track record in aviation with revenue targets met/exceeded
  • Strong analytical skills in business/technical issues
  • Knowledge of Starlink network infrastructure
