What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain blood specimens.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and adhering to isolation procedures.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification to ensure data accuracy.
• Track collected specimens and maintain quality-control logs according to department schedules.
• Manage logistics for patient reports and schedule courier pickups via FedEx or Medspeed.
• Handle billing inquiries and triage follow-ups with patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Must be based in Schaumburg, IL for onsite work.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by State).
• Completion of HIPAA/PHI privacy and security training within 30 days of hire.
