VP of Product, Trust and Safety (Responsible AI): Building proactive, user-felt safety experiences powered by responsible AI for a dating app with an accent on account integrity, enforcement fairness, IRL safety, and net-new features. Focus on defining long-term T&S product strategy, leading PM teams, and integrating ML/LLMs to improve safety outcomes and reduce user friction.
Location: New York, New York (Hybrid). Salary subject to geographic adjustment if authorized to work outside NYC.
Salary: $300,000 - $340,000 a year

What you will do
- Define and own the long-term T&S product strategy and roadmap focused on proactive safety and differentiating user-facing features.
- Lead, develop, and grow a team of product managers across T&S workstreams like account integrity, enforcement, internal tools, and IRL safety.
- Drive high-velocity execution with end-to-end ownership for PMs and clear executive alignment.
- Champion responsible AI applications using ML, LLMs, and emerging tools to enhance safety and user delight.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Policy, and Operations at executive levels.
- Translate industry trends, regulations, and threats into actionable product innovations that drive growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years product management in consumer tech, ideally Trust & Safety or adjacent (rideshare, marketplace, gaming, social).
- Proven track record building and scaling high-performing product teams with strong culture focus.
- Hands-on fluency with AI/ML in product contexts, understanding possibilities and guardrails.
- Ability to turn complex challenges into clear strategies with measurable outcomes.
- Strong executive presence for influence, communication, and alignment across stakeholders.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving in high-urgency, ambiguous environments.
- Deep user empathy, consumer-centric thinking, and collaborative leadership.
- Experience partnering with AI/ML teams on detection, classification, or GenAI risk mitigation.
Nice to have
- Background in regulated/safety-sensitive domains like marketplaces or fintech.
- Familiarity with T&S operations, case management, and policy-to-product translation.
