Senior Product Designer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (Fintech): Designing the end-to-end experience for receivers in emerging markets with an accent on AI-first workflows and product marketing assets. Focus on rapid prototyping using AI tools, translating concepts into high-fidelity Figma designs, and validating directions through customer interviews.

Location: Preferably based in Seattle, WA (hybrid 2-3 days/week), but open to remote for the right candidate.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for product UX (flows, wireframes, prototypes) and product marketing assets for the Receivers experience.
• Utilize AI tools like Claude Code, Google Stitch, Gemini, and ChatGPT for rapid prototyping, research, and analysis.
• Translate AI-driven prototypes into polished Figma designs that adhere to the existing design system and localization processes.
• Conduct independent concept testing and customer interviews to validate design directions and synthesize signals.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to shape ambiguous problems into clear directions.
• Document design decisions and ensure clean hand-offs for long-term maintenance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience in fast-moving, low-process environments.
• Proven AI-leveraging workflow for rapid prototyping and synthesis.
• Expert-level Figma skills and experience prototyping complex workflows.
• Experience executing within an existing design system and localization process.
• Ability to conduct independent customer research and concept testing.
• Must be eligible for a 1099 contract (US).

Nice to have

• Multilingual ability, specifically Spanish, to support international customer interviews.
• Experience designing for emerging markets, global audiences, or first-time digital users.
• Background in fintech, payments, or consumer financial products.
• Prior contract or agency experience designing for consumer mobile and web.
• Experience with accessibility-conscious and compliance-aware consumer experiences.
