What you will do

• Review standard and non-standard deals for proper revenue recognition under ASC 606/IFRS 15 and setup in NetSuite (Zone Advanced Billing).
• Own deferred and unbilled revenue schedules, including monthly reconciliations, analytics, and license fulfillment validation.
• Run control processes to detect, investigate, and resolve unusual GL and billing system activity.
• Lead process improvements for greater automation and stronger controls, including hirify.global DSS projects.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting, AR, Tax, Deal Desk, Legal, and Professional Services on projects.
• Contribute to accounting memos and support external audit for revenue matters.

Requirements

• 5+ years accounting experience with strong focus on revenue recognition (ASC 606 or IFRS 15).
• Background in public accounting (Big 4 or Big 10, 2–3 years min) plus industry hands-on systems experience.
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Hands-on with NetSuite and Salesforce CRM; Zone Advanced Billing a strong plus.
• Prior experience in software or SaaS company.
• Advanced Excel; familiarity with SQL, Ruby, or Python.
