What you will do

• Develop worldwide competitive product cost targets by collaborating with global cost teams, business resources, and engineering.
• Maintain external product cost comparisons and manage full cost bills of material (BOM).
• Lead cross-functional teams on global, high-value cost reduction projects to achieve specific targets.
• Facilitate Cost Obeya meetings to report the current state of product costs and actions to leadership.
• Research and develop design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications for new products.
• Guide technical project planning, performance analysis, and participate in supplier capabilities assessment.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite five days a week in Decatur or Mossville, IL.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Ability to lead and influence others towards a common goal without direct authority.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
• Experience accessing data from hirify.global systems and strong analytical thinking.
