What you will do

• Own vehicle-level projects through planning, design, and testing phases of development.
• Manage primary flight control hardware, data acquisition hardware, and ground station development.
• Execute hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and integration with software and HMI teams.
• Guide the schedule and sequencing of large integration projects.
• Prioritize aircraft functions for integration and testing on the vehicle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience designing, integrating, and testing electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency in system design fundamentals and reading electrical wiring schematics.
• Experience writing and running code and testing systems for proper performance.
• Strong project management skills.
• Must be a U.S. person or authorized to comply with U.S. export control laws.

• Experience designing system architectures and evaluating design options.
• Expertise in vehicle safety assessments, risk assessments, and contingency management.
• Ability to design, build, and operate test stands and equipment.
• Strong technical writing and data analysis skills.
