What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the organization’s EHS function, managing a team of EHS professionals.
• Develop and implement safety programs in partnership with North American manufacturing leadership.
• Cultivate a "Best in Class" safety culture using behavioral safety techniques and continuous improvement.
• Deliver EHS activity reports and strategic solutions to senior-level management.
• Collaborate with the corporate EHS council to drive global EHS strategy across business segments.
• Interpret and implement local and national regulatory requirements to ensure full compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or a related field.
• At least 15 years of leadership experience in EHS, preferably within construction or manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of promoting a safety culture and utilizing Behavior-Based Safety Processes.
• Experience directing initiatives related to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong project management skills for implementing large-scale EHS initiatives.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work from the Grand Rapids, MI location.
