What you will do

• Drive safety program excellence by implementing data-driven strategies, conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing, building partnerships across organization levels.
• Foster safety culture through communication, coaching, and turning data into narratives for behavioral change.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 49 pounds, standing/walking 12 hours, working in variable temperatures, and emergency response.

Requirements

• Located in USA, CA, Vacaville; available for flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends.
• High school or equivalent; minimum 1 year EHS experience OR Bachelor’s in relevant field OR 6 months hirify.global safety role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel professionally.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality on security/personnel issues.
• Obtain First Aid, CPR, AED certification within 3 weeks if not held.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or higher in safety-related field.
• Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, customer focus.
• Experience leading teams, analyzing accidents/processes, job hazard analyses.
• Emergency response experience with current First Aid/CPR certificates.
• Workers compensation case management experience.
