Senior UX/UI Product Designer I

Senior UX/UI Product Designer I (Circle Expansion): Drive end-to-end design of experiences connecting families across distance, life stages, and relationship types—from daily reassurance to safety-critical moments—with an accent on elegant, scalable UI/UX solutions. Focus on leading early explorations, rapid prototyping with Figma and AI tools, building scalable design systems, and partnering with PM, engineering, research, and industrial design.

Remote in USA or Canada. Remote-first company; positions performed remotely within the US unless otherwise specified.

US: $120k–$190k; Canada: $149k–$176k (depending on experience and location).

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design for Circle Expansion experiences serving diverse family needs across life stages and relationships.
• Conduct early design explorations for connection, safety, and contextual experiences.
• Rapidly prototype using Figma, AI-assisted tools, and interactive frameworks, iterating with members and stakeholders.
• Create scalable frameworks, interaction models, and expand design system across devices and surfaces.
• Partner with PM, engineering, research, and industrial design to deliver software/hardware outcomes and influence roadmap.
• Mentor designers, champion design culture, and share AI-native practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years designing consumer-facing mobile-first products with complex multi-actor experiences.
• Portfolio of emotionally resonant, human-centered design balancing safety, dignity, and connection.
• Strong prototyping, iteration, and systems thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence.
• Comfort operating across problem space to detailed delivery with collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware-integrated experiences (wearables, GPS trackers).
