FAI Technician (Manufacturing)

Salary: $18.27 – $30.29 per hour

What you will do

• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and generate detailed First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
• Analyze blueprints to determine required measurements and inspection methods.
• Utilize precision dimensional measuring equipment to ensure components are within design specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive records associated with the FAI process.
• Provide regular status updates on inspection progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Location: 100% onsite in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience utilizing precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• At least 1 year of experience in First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9102 standards.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SOLIDWORKS Inspection and Project Data Management.
