Account Executive, Mid-Market (AI): Driving new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies and biotechs to adopt an AI-powered regulatory platform with an accent on outbound prospecting and pipeline management. Focus on qualifying leads, managing complex sales cycles, and aligning product capabilities with client needs in the drug development sector.

Location: Remote (Ideally based in Austin, Chicago, or Denver; must be authorized to work in the US)

Salary: Base $150,000–$185,000, OTE $300,000–$370,000

What you will do

  • Identify and target potential clients (executives, regulatory leaders) within pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
  • Execute outbound campaigns via phone, email, and social media in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Qualify prospects by understanding their challenges and mapping stakeholder budgeting processes.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from initial engagement through negotiation and contract closing.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to maintain deep knowledge of capabilities and the product roadmap.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and webinars.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in software sales within life sciences, pharma, or biotech.
  • Proven experience in documented contract sales and SaaS/document management solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for client meetings and events.
  • Strong communication skills for influencing senior-level decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of FDA, EMA, or ICH guidelines is a plus.
