What you will do

• Perform project quality control, slide and cassette printing.
• Handle grossing, spawning, trimming, and embedding of tissue.
• Conduct routine H&E staining, coverslipping, and TMA creation (manual and automated).
• Execute microtomy at various thicknesses, including TMA sectioning.
• Operate IHC platforms (Dako, Leica, Ventana), including validations and assay development.
• Load, change, clean, and troubleshoot tissue processors; perform digital slide scanning and QC.
• Verify control slides, monitor quality control, and maintain equipment.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 0-2+ years of related experience
• Histologist (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certified by ASCP or eligible (certification within 6 months of hire)
• Visual acuity, above average dexterity, ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Fluent English (read, write, speak, comprehend)
• Compliance with OSHA, CLIA, CAP, HIPAA regulations.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or graduate of certified Histology program.
