What you will do
- Lead client management: handle proposals, agendas, calls with clients and experts, status reports, and project briefs.
- Manage projects: direct support teams, utilize tools for planning, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
- Provide leadership: mentor junior staff, conduct reviews, set goals, and foster team collaboration.
- Drive business development: identify market opportunities and organic growth within accounts.
- Handle finance: develop proposals/budgets, monitor costs, and provide updates to clients.
- Ensure compliance with PhRMA, FDA, OIG, ACCME guidelines and maintain quality control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
- At least 3 years in an Account role within pharmaceutical/medical communications company.
- Daily client-facing experience and medical/legal/regulatory review experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to travel 10-15% depending on client needs (currently limited to Chicago suburban area).
