What you will do
- Define and communicate technical vision, architecture best practices, and decisions on emerging technologies.
- Act as trusted advisor to CIOs/CTOs, leading workshops and translating business needs into strategies.
- Oversee project execution for quality, scalability, and maintainability while monitoring risks.
- Lead team staffing, mentorship, and culture of excellence.
- Manage financials, resource allocation, and growth opportunities.
- Contribute to thought leadership via open-source, speaking, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Based in the UK for this remote role.
- 15+ years technical leadership in consulting, SaaS, or digital transformations.
- Deep expertise in software architecture, cloud, modern practices, AI, databases, distributed systems.
- Track record guiding high-impact projects, pre-sales, discovery, solution design.
- Strong communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Consultative mindset, stakeholder management, team leadership experience.
