TL;DR
Lead AI/ML Engineer (AI): Setting the technical direction for complex AI/ML projects and large-scale platforms with an accent on architectural trade-offs and production scalability. Focus on building autonomous AI agents, developing shared microservices, and leading distributed engineering teams in high-risk environments.
Location: London, UK. Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and willing to work on site with clients from time to time.

What you will do
- Set the technical direction and architectural decisions for complex software projects to support long-term goals.
- Drive the development of shared software libraries and microservices to accelerate delivery across client engagements.
- Oversee the delivery of large-scale AI-powered platforms and define project roadmaps in high-risk environments.
- Facilitate alignment between ML, Data Science, and DevOps to ensure reliable agentic software.
- Manage and coach a distributed team of engineers, setting growth-aligned development goals.
- Establish enterprise-wide standards for code delivery, testing, and system documentation.
Requirements
- Deep expertise across the application lifecycle to set high standards for system integration.
- Experience designing large-scale, complex software ecosystems and justifying architectural trade-offs.
- Ability to define production readiness and establish deployment protocols across diverse engagements.
- Skill in translating high-level commercial strategy into technical roadmaps and estimates.
- Experience architecturally directing products leveraging autonomous AI agents.
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).
