Technology Director (AI)

What you will do

• Lead complex software engineering programmes and ensure strong technical quality across delivery.
• Shape software, solution, and enterprise architecture for major client engagements.
• Lead the engineering of modern software solutions, including AI-native and agentic applications.
• Advise senior enterprise stakeholders and grow strategic client accounts.
• Shape proposals, pitches, RFPs, and technical approaches for new consulting work.
• Lead, mentor, and develop UK engineers, technical leads, principal engineers, and architects.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software and technology, including substantial hands-on software engineering experience.
• Significant experience in a recognised technology consultancy serving complex enterprise clients.
• Experience with discovery, proposition and solution shaping, proposals, RFPs, tenders, pitches, and winning consulting work.
• Experience designing and delivering technology in complex Tier 1 environments; banking, trading, telecommunications, wagering, and insurance experience is particularly relevant.
• Strong software, solution, and enterprise architecture capabilities.
• Proven senior client leadership and experience developing engineers, technical leads, and architects.
