Associate Financial Analyst (Government Contracting)

Associate Financial Analyst (Government Contracting): Providing financial support, analysis, and program planning for project excellence within the Federal Intelligence Community with an accent on project-based accounting and regulatory compliance. Location: Hybrid in Chantilly, VA. Relocation assistance is not available.

What you will do

• Provide financial support and analysis for program planning, including scheduling, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Conduct variance analysis, data validation, and resource planning using Unanet.
• Develop Program Control procedures and generate monthly CDRL, dashboards, and metric reporting.
• Collaborate with the Contracts team to track ceilings, funding, and forecast direct labor.
• Ensure project setups meet contractual requirements for labor hours, rates, and costs.
• Assist the Business Development team in managing investment budgets for accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
• 0-2 years of experience in project-based accounting or project controls.
• Interest or experience in Government Contracting (Cost Type, T&M, and Fixed Price contracts).
• Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of FAR and experience with DCAA/DCMA compliance is a plus.
