Global Accounting Specialist (Wellness)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day accounting for multiple international entities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across global operations.
• Coordinate intercompany accounts and ensure proper eliminations during consolidation according to German GAAP (HGB).
• Collaborate with local finance teams to support payroll, VAT/GST, and local reporting requirements.
• Work with external auditors and internal stakeholders during international audits.
• Assist in developing global accounting policies and implementing ERP system upgrades.

Requirements

• Must be based in Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)
• Fluent English is mandatory
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong proficiency in accounting principles, financial closing, and general ledger.
• Experience with German GAAP (HGB) and other European local GAAPs.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Datev, Lucanet, or SQL is a plus.
