TL;DR

Test & Evaluation Specialist III (Defense/IT): Conducting developmental and operational testing of Information Technology and National Security Systems with an accent on the operational effectiveness, suitability, and survivability of military intelligence and ISR platforms. Focus on designing overall T&E strategies, defining Critical Operational Issues (COIs), and evaluating system resilience in contested environments.

Location: On-site at Fort Huachuca, AZ (up to 40% travel CONUS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and document comprehensive program T&E strategies and frameworks.
• Create detailed Test Plans, operations-based testing scenarios, and scripts to validate system requirements.
• Define and refine Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Measures of Effectiveness (MOE), and Measures of Performance (MOPs).
• Conduct developmental, operational, interoperability, and standards conformance test events using manual and automated tools.
• Analyze test data and translate complex results into evaluative conclusions and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Author strategic briefings including Test Concept Briefs (TCB) and Operational Test Readiness Reviews (OTRR).

Requirements

• Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI and ability to pass a polygraph is non-negotiable.
• Certification: Must hold IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CISSP, or RHCS).
• Education: Master's degree, or Bachelor's with 6+ years of experience, or 10+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), cryptographic devices, and COMSEC.
• Expertise in military intelligence and ISR systems concepts and procedures.
• Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in requirements analysis.
