Test Engineer - SME-Level (C4ISR)

Location: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite. Full-time role with 20% travel. U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance are required; ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI is required.

What you will do

• Provide strategic acquisition test and evaluation, including cybersecurity T&E, support to integrated product teams and program management organizations.
• Plan overarching test solutions and organize Integrated Test Teams across the weapon system lifecycle.
• Develop test objectives, methods, procedures, data requirements, instrumentation requirements, and test support plans for C4ISR systems.
• Participate in test planning, execution, data collection and analysis, system effectiveness assessments, demonstrations, and test reporting.
• Coordinate with system program offices, test communities, support agencies, ranges, facilities, and instrumentation teams.
• Facilitate technical interchange meetings and design reviews, review technical and programmatic documentation, and direct systems test events.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
• Recognized subject matter expertise in a relevant technical area; typically a relevant bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of DoD acquisition and test and evaluation methodologies, processes, and activities.
• Experience developing or reviewing Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Test and Evaluation Strategies, test plans, and test procedures.
• Experience with airborne network infrastructures, information technology, or C4ISR systems.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and Agile software development practices.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DoD and Air Force test and evaluation instructions, policies, and manuals, including DoD 5000.89 and DAFI 99-103.
• Experience with CVRi2 capabilities, commercial cloud infrastructure, multi-level security, zero-trust, data encryption, modular software architecture, or cloud-native platforms.
• Software and functional testing experience, particularly for aircraft modifications.
• Project management experience leading execution within schedule and cost constraints.
