TL;DR

Retirement Services Account Executive: Manage high-touch, complex retirement accounts for fast-growing Bay Area companies with an accent on client retention, relationship building, and up-sell opportunities. Focus on conducting plan reviews, leading presentations, coordinating vendors for plan operations, and ensuring compliance.

Location: US-remote or hybrid with option to work from hirify.global offices

Salary: $82.6K – $129K (base, offers bonus)

What you will do

  • Independently manage 50+ accounts, anticipate needs, drive retention and up-sell opportunities.
  • Build strong client relationships, handle day-to-day needs, prepare and conduct plan reviews.
  • Lead client presentations and calls, manage project plans, coordinate resources for plan operations and compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet SLAs, identify improvements, share best practices.
  • Stay current on retirement industry trends, vendors, services, and pricing.

Requirements

  • 7+ years relevant experience
  • Excellent communication, project/task management, time management skills.
  • Strong collaboration, adaptability, growth mindset, passion for retirement industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and productivity tools.
  • Series 65 License (preferred or within 1 month of start)

Nice to have

  • Understanding of retirement plan design, laws, regulations, compliance testing, Form 5500.
  • Experience with corporate mergers/acquisitions impact on plans.
  • CFA, CFP, QKA or other financial designations.
