Salary: $110,200 – $149,000 CAD

What you will do

• Collaborate with a team of fullstack developers to solve complex problems and deliver elegant solutions for customers.
• Develop and maintain performant, reliable, and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Participate in diverse projects and collaborate with multiple engineering teams across three different countries.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure high quality and consistency across the codebase.
• Utilize AI tools and methodologies to enhance the development process and overall product quality.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, specifically building large-scale web applications with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven success in mentorship and working within an Agile process for SaaS products.
• Experience with database optimization and managing large-scale systems.
• Must be based in or local to a hirify.global hub to support the hybrid work model.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues and customers.

Nice to have

• Backgrounds in Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript (with a willingness to learn Ruby).
• A portfolio of successful projects and documented lessons learned from failed initiatives.
