IT Systems Engineer

TL;DR

IT Systems Engineer (AWS/Okta): Evolving IT infrastructure with a focus on deliverability, identity & access management, and compliance with an accent on automation, integrations, and infrastructure-as-code. Focus on designing efficient automations, governing AI adoption, driving incident response, and leading cross-organisational projects to eliminate friction and improve security posture.

Location: Dublin, Ireland; London, England. Hybrid working policy: in the office at least three days per week.

What you will do

• Identify and solve automation and integration problems across teams, organisation, and business.
• Design, build, and own automations and integrations for identity & access management, endpoint management, security, compliance, and email deliverability.
• Participate in cross-organisational projects to integrate and evolve corporate IT infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code.
• Govern and promote automation and AI adoption through enablement and education to reduce toil.
• Drive IT incident response with InfoSec and engineering teams.
• Integrate AI tooling and no-code infrastructure via tools like Tines and Workato.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Perl).
• Experience building and operating cloud systems (AWS, Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, Intune, Tines, Workato) without traditional network perimeter.
• Passion for systems and automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with iPaaS platforms and enterprise email deliverability.
