IT Operations Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: £40,000 – £48,000

What you will do

• Triage and resolve day-to-day IT support requests for end users.
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) and RBAC across the employee lifecycle.
• Enforce security best practices, including patch management and device security policies.
• Manage the full hardware asset lifecycle for laptops, mobile devices, and IoT.
• Administer cloud collaboration tools including Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.
• Identify and automate manual workflows to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT administration and technical support.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office 3 days a week.
• Proficiency in managing macOS devices and patch management.
• Technical expertise in Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Jira, and GCP.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals (VPN, ZTNA).
• Experience with onboarding/off-boarding workflows and corporate security standards.
