Network Engineer (Hybrid Cloud)

TL;DR

Network Engineer (Hybrid Cloud & Infrastructure): Supporting and improving enterprise network infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem environments with an accent on scalability, security, and high-availability platforms. Focus on driving upgrades, lifecycle management, automation with IaC practices, troubleshooting complex networking challenges, and contributing to disaster recovery initiatives.

Location: Remote - need to be based in the UK or Ireland. No visa sponsorship offered

What you will do

• Support and improve enterprise network infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
• Work with switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, wireless networks, and cloud networking
• Drive upgrades, lifecycle management, monitoring, and incident response
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams
• Build infrastructure using automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Contribute to disaster recovery, observability, and high-availability initiatives
• Troubleshoot complex networking and security challenges

Requirements

• 2+ years of enterprise network engineering/support experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto solutions
• Knowledge of routing, switching, BGP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, QoS, VPNs, and network security
• Experience with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar
• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure environments
• Proactive, curious mindset comfortable with ownership

Nice to have

• Juniper experience
• Relevant certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE, JNCIA, etc.)
• Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
