What you will do
- Take accountability for end-to-end operational performance of branches, including colleague availability, choreography, and safe environment.
- Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers to build high-performing, customer-focused teams.
- Respond to changing customer demand across branch, telephony, and digital channels.
- Partner with Group functions to support customers' digital journeys and financial needs, especially vulnerable ones.
- Lead change initiatives, foster continuous improvement, and promote insight-led decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years senior people leadership experience leading managers or team leaders
- Strong customer-centric leadership with track record in service improvement.
- Proven stakeholder influence and collaborative delivery.
- Experience in operational delivery balancing people, customer, and business priorities.
- Ownership of risk, governance, and compliant decision-making.
Nice to have
- Experience in community/retail banking or branch environments across multiple sites.
- Leading geographically dispersed or hybrid service teams.
- Track record in change management and transformation.
- Supporting customers with vulnerability or financial difficulty.
