Location: Fully remote and flexible; proximity to GD offices (New York, Nairobi, Kampala, Kigali, London) preferred. Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the US or UK.
United States: Base $109,200 + 10% bonus (~$120,120 total) + $21,393 benefits stipend. United Kingdom: Base £71,400 + 10% bonus (~£78,540 total) + £2,760 benefits stipend. Kenya: Base $77,500 + 10% bonus (~$85,250 total) + $8,453 benefits stipend. Benchmarks provided for other countries during hiring.

What you will do
- Own and drive a portfolio of high-priority workstreams across the COO portfolio, translating priorities into plans and ensuring execution.
- Lead cross-functional analyses to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities, building dashboards and delivering insights for decisions.
- Improve core operating mechanisms, processes, and workflows to enable scalable operations as the organization grows.
- Identify and implement AI/automation opportunities to reduce manual work and enhance analytics and knowledge management.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives like audit follow-ups, compliance improvements, and policy rollouts.
- Serve as a thought partner to the COO and leaders, diagnosing challenges and shaping solutions.
Requirements
- 5–7 years in consulting, strategy, or operations in business or social impact.
- Structured problem-solving to turn ambiguity into actionable plans.
- Strong analytical skills using data for insights and decisions.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional projects end-to-end with measurable results.
- Systems thinking to design scalable processes and tools.
- Clear communication to influence stakeholders without authority; technical fluency in spreadsheets, dashboards, project tools.
- High ownership, low ego, motivated by impact; ~2–3 trips annually.
