What you will do

• Lead and inspire a team of 9 digital underwriters to achieve commercial targets.
• Monitor sales funnels and product performance using data-led insights.
• Optimize underwriting workflows and processes within the Acturis environment.
• Collaborate with leadership to launch new digital products and drive commercial strategy.
• Ensure high standards of service excellence and governance for broker interactions.
• Shape the future team structure as product complexity and business volume grow.

Requirements

• Commercial insurance background (broker or composite insurer).
• Proven track record in digital trading, underwriting, or operations.
• Experience with digital platforms such as Acturis.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and performance management skills.
• Must be able to work from the Birmingham office 3 days per week.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver growth.
