What you will do

  • Own the product strategy, backlog, and roadmap for Finance Data, covering pipelines, dbt models, and reporting foundations.
  • Translate messy, cross-functional demands into clear problem statements and delivery-ready scope.
  • Prioritize operational run-support, technical debt, and strategic delivery while clearly communicating the rationale.
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, Finance, and Treasury to deliver trusted data products.
  • Drive standards for data quality, lineage, and auditability across finance-critical systems.
  • Lead cross-functional conversations to resolve ambiguity regarding ownership and project scope.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product ownership or management within data, platform, or internal tooling environments.
  • Technical fluency in data engineering concepts including pipelines, dbt, Databricks, CI/CD, and data modelling.
  • Strong instincts for data governance and auditability specifically for financial data.
  • Experience operating in complex, ambiguous environments with contested priorities and numerous stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of improving product delivery maturity and scaling intake and prioritization processes.
