Lead Designer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design components and component groups and provide technical design support throughout development.
• Coordinate technical content and schedules with internal departments, external companies, and customers.
• Lead and steer assigned technical resources, including construction teams.
• Create and monitor development schedules, coordinate component staging, and ensure functional and timely assembly.
• Conduct tests, identify deviations, and implement improvements or alternative solutions.
• Create drawings, data sets, and technical documentation while supporting purchasing and obtaining required releases.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a technical role in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, and project management.
• Fluent English and Hungarian.
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
