What you will do

• Review and coordinate electrical and communications designs to ensure full compliance with required industry standards.
• Assist Project Managers in aligning technical aspects with project objectives and tracking engineering progress to mitigate delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contractors to clarify technical needs and ensure accurate execution on site.
• Oversee technical design implementation specifically for the TfL IMPACT programme and other sectoral rollouts.

Requirements

• B Eng Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in providing technical review and assurance within project delivery (civil, mechanical, or electrical).
• Strong practical knowledge of British Standards for electrical design and CDM Regulations 2015.
• Experience working on large CAPEX projects, specifically in TfL, roadside, highway, or rail environments.
• Must be based in or able to work in London (Holborn) for site inspections and team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Prince2 or equivalent project management certification at the practitioner level.
• SMSTS or NEBOSH qualifications.
• Chartered or Member status in a relevant professional engineering institution.
• Experience working with NEC or similar contract frameworks.
