Dayshift Electrical Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Resolve maintenance requests received via the CMMS system.
• Perform planned, preventative, reactive, and emergency maintenance work.
• Minimize downtime to support the site in meeting departmental KPI targets.
• Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety standards and risk assessments.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and 5S.
• Collaborate with both Engineering and production departments to support site operations.

Requirements

• NC or HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven electrical experience, ideally within manufacturing environments.
• Experience in fault-finding and repair of PLCs, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Ability to work logically and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Experience with planned maintenance systems (CMMS).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy, specifically in MS Word and Excel.
