Project Engineer

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands; hybrid work model

Salary: €35,000–€46,000 annual base pay, with potential variable pay and benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze customer requirements and project specifications.
• Contribute to system design across hardware, software, communications, and interfaces.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and support Bill of Materials validation.
• Plan and execute testing, factory integration, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.
• Manage technical deviations and coordinate internal technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical and user training and act as a technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer, Electronic, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.
• Familiarity with engineering project lifecycles.
• Fluent English required.
• Strong technical communication, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Availability for international travel.

Nice to have

• IP networking and basic network troubleshooting experience.
• Windows Server or Linux administration experience.
• System integration, communication protocols, virtualization, electrical power distribution, or cabinet/rack integration experience.
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge.
• Spanish language skills.
