Security Systems Engineer (Physical Security)

Location: Seattle, WA, United States; hybrid workplace with regular office presence. Travel to domestic and international offices may be required up to 25% of the time.

Salary: $95,000–$142,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Design and oversee physical security projects from conception through full deployment.
• Maintain security systems and work with vendors and end users to resolve technical issues.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, status reports, and risk summaries.
• Prepare standard operating procedures, protocols, and security standards.
• Schedule, test, and implement server operating system enhancements and new releases.
• Validate security controls and ensure deliverables meet internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience maintaining, installing, managing, and troubleshooting security systems and related technologies.
• Experience with enterprise video management systems, physical access control systems, intruder detection systems, communication systems, and security hardware.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions with minimal supervision, and continuously learn in a changing environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%; an active TS security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is a plus.
