TL;DR

Sales Manager (FMCG): End-to-end ownership of business operations in Belgium and Luxembourg with an accent on commercial strategy and sustainable growth. Focus on deepening relationships with key retailers, leading complex negotiations, and managing P&L performance.

Location: Hybrid setup. Must live in Belgium or have strong roots in the market. Travel to Antwerp and Amsterdam HQ required.

Salary: €78,000 - €98,000 per year

What you will do

  • Drive the Belux commercial strategy by translating market and shopper insights into clear growth plans.
  • Develop long-term senior partnerships with key retailers such as Carrefour, Delhaize, and Colruyt.
  • Lead complex negotiations regarding pricing, assortment, and trade terms for win-win outcomes.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including forecasting, budgeting, promotional planning, and in-store execution.
  • Manage financial performance, including revenue growth, contribution margin, and P&L decisions.
  • Lead and develop the Belux setup, managing a direct report and coordinating external field sales teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles, ideally within FMCG or the food industry.
  • Proven ability to own and grow a market with strong financial accountability and P&L management.
  • Fluency in Flemish/Dutch, French, and English is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating with major retail buyers and procurement teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of scaling businesses from the ground up.
  • Must be based in Belgium or have strong roots in the Belux market.
