TL;DR

Key Account Manager, DCR (DACH & BENELUX): Manage key Distribution, Catering & Retail accounts across the region with an accent on driving new business, building long-term partnerships, and delivering profitable sustainable growth. Focus on customer relationship management, sales planning, market development, and cross-functional coordination with operations and customer service.

Location: Remote, based in the Netherlands, with frequent travel across DACH & BENELUX regions.

What you will do

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing DCR customers and prospects, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop sales plans, manage budgets, achieve volume/turnover/margin targets, and lead forecasting.
  • Identify new market opportunities, grow market share, and collaborate with customer service in Germany.
  • Handle complaints process, coordinate with production on quality issues, and assess technical feasibility of requests.
  • Oversee payments, debts, credit limits, and aging stock.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on market developments, customer issues, competitors, and visit action lists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commercial, International Business, Management, or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience with manufacturing industry experience, ideally packaging.
  • Strong network and experience in retail space.
  • Proven track record in commercial improvement, international trade, business administration, and basic finance.
  • Strong technical affinity, communication, negotiation skills, and international mindset.
  • Fluent Dutch and English (spoken and written), ideally German.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce and Power BI.
