What you will do
- Lead, recruit, and develop a team of Commercial Sales and Business Development Managers.
- Define and drive commercial sales strategies for fleet operators, municipalities, and port authorities.
- Manage strategic enterprise-level relationships with shipyards, fleet managers, and operators.
- Collaborate with engineering and finance teams on vessel architecture, technical feasibility, and pricing strategies.
- Forecast demand with high precision and maintain pipeline visibility for company leadership.
- Work with internal and external agencies to secure grant funding for large-scale projects.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in commercial sales, business development, or partnerships.
- At least 3 years of experience managing sales teams.
- Proven track record of building high-performing sales organizations and exceeding revenue targets.
- Proficiency in multi-stakeholder communication and enterprise contract negotiation.
- Ability to work from or travel frequently to the Los Angeles area (Torrance, CA).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the marine industry, maritime construction, or marine sales.
- Experience selling to municipalities, port authorities, or fleet operators.
- Knowledge of grant-funded capital programs in transportation or clean energy.
- Passion for clean energy and decarbonizing commercial waterways.
