What you will do

• Lead planning and delivery across the generative model, geometry pipeline, and BDG APIs.
• Build out the first European BDG team by attracting computational geometry engineers and growing sustainably.
• Partner with PMs to scope PRDs, assess feasibility, and surface constraints early.
• Evaluate and route technical proposals to Director of Engineering or ARC as needed.
• Coordinate with the North American BDG team for coherent technical direction and interfaces.
• Shape clean API contracts between building model and interaction/rendering systems.
• Run an async-first team with minimal meetings, clear ownership, and high accountability.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering with significant CAD/CAM or computational geometry experience, and 2+ years managing technical teams
• Deep expertise in computational geometry (BReps, boolean ops, mesh processing, constraint solving)
• Strong knowledge of parametric/generative 2D/3D modeling, history graphs, dependency propagation, and scalability
• Experience in platform/API development for internal/external consumers, including versioning and performance
• Familiarity with geometry kernels and their trade-offs
• Fluency in AI-assisted development practices
• Proven delivery in fast-paced, distributed environments
• Based in a European timezone

• Exposure to AEC or homebuilding software
