What you will do

• Edit Army doctrinal publications including ADPs, FMs, and ATPs.
• Ensure strict compliance with TRADOC and Army publishing standards.
• Review content, graphics, tables, and formatting for accuracy and operational consistency.
• Support worldwide staffing review processes and doctrine integration efforts.
• Lead quality assurance, deliverable tracking, and version control.
• Collaborate with doctrine authors, government editors, and proponents.

Requirements

• Active SECRET clearance.
• Master’s degree in English, History, Technical Writing, or Journalism, or a Bachelor’s degree with Army doctrine editing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Army doctrine editing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior TRADOC, CAC, or CADD experience.
• Experience teaching or facilitating instruction.
• Familiarity with DA Pam 25-40, TR 25-36, and Army publishing workflows.
• Experience with SharePoint and collaborative staffing environments.
