What you will do

• Act as the final approval for client copy, ensuring alignment with strategy, brand voice, and quality standards.
• Optimize content for on-page SEO/GEO best practices, including keyword integration and meta elements.
• Perform thorough fact-checking and quality assurance for structure, flow, and strategic effectiveness.
• Provide actionable feedback and strategic coaching to writers to improve content execution.
• Manage and improve AI editing tools like Grammarly to maintain style guide consistency.
• Edit Digital PR assets, including press pitches, data studies, and media-facing content.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in content editing, digital publishing, journalism, or content marketing.
• 3-5 years of experience in an agency environment.
• Strong command of AP style and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven experience editing long-form guides, thought leadership, and SEO-driven articles.
• Experience reviewing PR-focused content such as press releases and media pitches.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and project management systems.

Nice to have

• 4-year degree in English, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience with SEO tools and content optimization platforms.
• Background editing content within health, legal, finance, SaaS, or technology industries.
• Experience editing data journalism and translating statistics into stories.
