What you will do
- Lead cross-organizational initiatives, influencing partners and facilitating trade-offs between short-term needs and long-term goals.
- Manage lifecycle of complex, cross-functional programs impacting business and product objectives.
- Define requirements, negotiate priorities, remove roadblocks, and create predictable processes for hardware, firmware, software, and cloud teams.
- Drive technical discussions, simplify architectures, and develop deep understanding of key system areas.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency and track delivery metrics for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with engineering teams
- 5+ years in technical leadership roles (e.g., TPM, systems architecture, software engineering)
- 5+ years technical project management with program best practices knowledge
- Bachelor's in CS, Info Systems, Math, EE/ME or equivalent
- 5+ years technical development lifecycle experience from conception to delivery
- Strong communication and ability to handle competing priorities
Nice to have
- Senior technical leadership with increasing scope
- Knowledge of IoT and security hardware across HW/FW/SW/cloud
- Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban) across multiple teams
- Track record of process simplification for efficiency
