Senior Consultant (Pharma MES)

TL;DR

Senior Consultant (Pharma MES): Help clients set objectives and strategies for manufacturing IT with an accent on designing pharmaceutical processes, translating requirements into software, and directing MES implementations. Focus on integrating MES with ERP/LIMS/SCADA systems, executing CSV, and optimizing life sciences operations.

Location: Remote (US), able to travel a minimum of 25%

What you will do

• Help clients set objectives and strategies for manufacturing IT and design pharmaceutical processes.
• Translate customer requirements into software applications and organize best practice product workshops.
• Select and implement technology to streamline manufacturing operations and advise on program rollouts.
• Direct MES system implementations, monitor client deployment plans, and identify improvements.
• Build client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and manage IT initiatives with technical staff.
• Monitor technology advancements, control business development, and report to upper management.

Requirements

• Degree in IT/Computer Science or relevant field
• 10+ years in life sciences industry on large-scale applications, including 5 years with PAS-X
• Experience integrating MES with Level 4/3/2 systems (ERP, LIMS, SCADA); Level 2 (Delta-V, PLCs) highly preferred
• Excellent understanding of GMP/GAMP principles and strong CSV experience for manufacturing systems
• Proven experience eliciting requirements, executing test specifications, and able to travel 25% minimum
• Outstanding knowledge of life sciences industry, sound understanding of PAS-X, excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; project management experience.
