HR Consulting Experienced Manager (Payroll): Leading strategic initiatives to transform HR and payroll operations for clients with an accent on workforce strategy, organizational design, and service delivery. Location: Hybrid: In-person attendance at least three days per week at a GT office or client site in Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, or Austin.
Salary: $147,200 – $196,880

What you will do
- Manage end-to-end delivery of HR and Payroll transformation projects, including operating model assessments and system implementations.
- Partner with clients to assess current operations and develop future-state roadmaps for efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement and governance frameworks by optimizing workflows and leveraging technology.
- Design and lead workshops on workforce transformation strategy for stakeholder alignment and change management.
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategies, and scope definition for prospective clients.
- Mentor and develop project teams, providing guidance to junior resources and promoting a culture of accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in HR/Payroll transformation, consulting, or related roles.
- Proficiency in HCM systems such as UKG, Dayforce, Workday, or SAP/SuccessFactors.
- Experience in designing HR operating models and implementing HCM platforms.
- Ability to present to C-Suite/senior executives and shape strategic conversations.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
