TL;DR

Talent Acquisition Sourcer (LegalTech): Sourcing and engaging top talent for the RnD team with an accent on building diverse pipelines and executing scalable sourcing strategies. Focus on passive candidate engagement, market research, and leveraging AI tools to optimize the recruiting lifecycle.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto (minimum 2 days per week in office)

Salary: $78,200 – $105,800 CAD

What you will do

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to build and execute scalable sourcing strategies aligned with hiring plans.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, referrals, and creative outreach.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines and nurture candidates through consistent touchpoint strategies.
  • Conduct market and talent research on availability, compensation trends, and competitor mapping.
  • Champion a human and high-performing culture throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a sourcing or recruiting role, ideally in high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing multiple talent pipelines simultaneously.
  • Strong sourcing skills across outbound search, inbound applicants, and referral channels.
  • Experience engaging passive talent from initial outreach to recruiter handoff.
  • Must be based in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto.
  • Growth mindset with an interest in experimenting with AI tools and new technologies.

Nice to have

  • Experience using Workday ATS and Gem.
  • Experience championing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
